Even the 1st scene "We arrived ... at midnight" and there we are looking like an average Reykja afternoon. A subtle thing to notice but clever. So it must be June. I missed my chance to go this fall once the kreppa hit me pretty hard. If things get a lot better soon I'll go this summer. I need to see it in perpetual daylight too. But the night sky is amazing and the colours at twilight (that can last a few hours) are beautiful. You just have to stay up a lot later to catch it in summer. :) I picture myself sitting in a comfy chair on a bluff sipping Brennivín and watching the sunset. Then turning the chair a few degrees while pouring a fresh glass to watch the sunrise a short while later. Yeah I loved it myself.
