Ready to go.

All good journeys must begin with one step.  Here is where I begin my trek.  The hardest part is perhaps getting to JFK but I must start from here because, wherever you go, there you are.  See you there!

    hehe surprise! Yes the price is good right now. Who knows what I’ll bump into as it is rather volatile with prices and provisions at the moment. I hear that food just made a huge jump skyward but who needs to eat…
    I was trying to go to bed just now but am too wired so I thought I’d check email one last time. Glad I did.

    I’ll be at the Fosshotel Baron. I hear the ocean view is the side I want to be on but that’s 2 000kr extra so I’ll be looking at the action downtown I think. Hope it isn’t too loud!

    Playing it by ear but I have my transfers booked, a great price on the city card, and a discount card. I’ll figure out a way to get outside the city if I can catch some decent weather. This is going to be great and a long time coming.

    I hope it goes so well that I’ll be going back next summer. Thanks for the comments and all the encouragement. I’ll be online for some updates. meanwhile it will be a long today on Thursday and will suddenly be Friday when I’m there. jet lag here I come.
