Iceland opens hydrogen filling station to public is a bold move to push hydrogen power toward a real consumer test. The public filling station has been filling buses during the last few years and starting next summer they will power a whale watching ship with hydrogen. Gutsy move since the currently very expensive hydrogen cars won’t ever see an affordable mainstream market if few other locations can make this work. So a real world test is beginning and we’ll see if the technologies can develop and become practical. Not everyone is convinced but at least now we’ll know if it can be done. Thanks Niceland.
