Canadian Thanksgiving is over but what a strange weather season this has been so far. Thanksgiving in Canada is about the harvest and as such happens one month before the U.S. holiday of the same name. Fall and harvest festivals happen all over the countryside. But this year we’re having much warmer than normal temperatures. Yesterday it was close to 30C when it should be 15C and the day before we had massive thunderstorms. It has been like that this Autumn. The summer was very hot and very dry. If you’re a farmer it was a challenge just to get much out of the ground. The rains came too late. But even farmers have a sense of humour and appear to be thankful anyway.
