Toronto:: Well September was a bust and it is now October but it still isn’t a proper Autumn. It still feels like late summer and when it gets hot this time of the year the air does strange things. Yesterday the fog rolled in and out all day long. These conditions make for some nasty air quality. But I should be careful what I wish for because we might go from a very long summer directly into a nasty winter. But wait, I might like that. Yeah, give me cold and snow. I’m ready for it…

I saw your website and assumed you WERE from Iceland! I hate to tell you, but the more you post about Island, the worse the craving to go there gets LOL. It is sort of like an addiction that only gets worse, the more you talk about it, the more you want it. So, when are you buying your plane tickets to Reykjavik?

LOL, this morning I was thinking that I should clarify this exact post because it is about my home in Canada. So yes, this story and my home is in Canada even though I write about Iceland a lot. I’m so stoked to go to Iceland I really do dream about it. You are right, writing about it isn’t making it any less an obsession. This morning for example I step outside early in the morning with my coffee and it is raining, Icelandic style, hard wind and sideways rain. Only difference is that it was thundering which I hear is not so common on the rock.
I’m coming to Niceland as soon as I possibly can. This winter at the latest. Then again in the Spring or summer. Then perhaps for much longer….
