First Day of Summer, Harpa

All of a sudden in one night the winter broke. Last frost. Very late this year but the timing was perfect.

Today is the first day of Harpa, the summer month in the old Icelandic calendar, which is also officially the first day of summer. Nice article at IcelandReview magazine.

And tonight was a nice Venus Moon combo.
