Snow squallIt is a bright sunny day. Cold but sunny. And it is snowing. Very interesting phenomenon, a line of snow squalls off the northern lakes appear like a fluffy dog’s tail extending south. It is slowly wagging back and forth dumping heavy snow in a narrow path.

The tail just wagged in my direction so while it is snowing rather heavily the sun is still shining to the side until the tail wags a little further.

The very cold air we’ve been having for a week is creating a huge amount of snow north and south of us after it passes over the lakes. I am living in between two snow belts. I get the cold air and the others are getting the big snow. I’m jealous….

The panic mode newscasts are all about the coming storm. Yea! But usually when they forecast a big one we’ll get bupkus. But I’m going to hope for snow..
